We are pleased to announce a new initiative to begin recycling our Specialized e-bike customers battery packs.
The growth of e-bikes has been nothing short of phenomenal. As a result, local transportation is beginning to look a lot more like an e-bike than a car, which is only the beginning.
We are working together with Specialized, who have partnered with Ecolamp, experts in battery recycling. They will be facilitating the safe recycling of all of customers Specialized Turbo e-bike battery packs and ensuring they have a second life.
This supports the Specialized global commitment to work towards more sustainable ways of working across their business.
It is a hugely positive step that allows us to get ahead of the potential long-term impact of e-bike batteries, with the majority of those currently in the market yet to reach the end of their life.
