Embracing Environmental Responsibilities

ENVIRONMENTAL

We don’t want to take over the world.
We just want to make it a better place.

Cutting down on our carbon footprint, being environmentally aware goes hand in hand with our healthy eating philosophy, well-being, and active lifestyle ethos.

These are fundamental to our ethos. We want to help change the world. Help our customers move away from their car to a more sustainable mode of transport. Eat healthier and leave a smaller footprint on the world around us.

That’s why where we can we source from local suppliers reducing carbon food miles:

Craigs Dairy, Full Circle Coffee, Dorset Tea, Cakes By Paul, Roberts Wholesale, Purbeck Ice Cream, MUC OFF and Gavan Catering Supplies.

  • All our takeaway products are made from plant-based sources and are fully recyclable and compostable.
  • Customers can help themselves to our coffee grinds for their gardens.
  • We are even exploring powering our businesses through renewable energy.

COMMUNITY

During the Lockdown and the trying times we are navigating through, a community of groups have started to grow around the EBIKE Cafe organically. Groups of dog owners, ladies who lunch, young mums, eBike enthusiasts, and cyclists now meet up regularly at the cafe. We are now talking with them about how we can help build their groups further. For us, that was very exciting and also unexpected so early on.

We are also working with All Saints School, where my children go to school on an initiative where every cup of coffee bought leads to a donation to the schools new ‘Out Door Gym’ project. We are hoping to make an official announcement on this in early September.

ACCESS

EBIKE Cafe @ Deheers is all on the level, with wide doors and walk through spaces. We have a fully accessible toilet with baby changing facilities too.
